Welcome to World News. Tonight, have you voted yet? Tens of thousands of Americans already have. Good evening. We say there are two weeks and today until Election Day 대통령 선거일. But in truth, the polls are already open in 31 states. And within a few days, 35 states and the District of Columbia will be allowing voters to come to the polls 투표소 early.

 

Tonight, as the election gets closer, the attacks get sharper. I’m Katie Couric in Missouri. One of three Midwest battle ground states will be focusing on tonight. And where voters tell us it’s all about the economy. A huge rally 반등 on Wall Street today, but the Fed chairman 연방 준비제도 이사회 의장 warns the economy may need a booster shot 효능 촉진제 of money. Good evening, everyone. Behind me is, of course, the gateway arch. And this is one of the battleground states that will be the gateway to victory in this presidential election. States that could swing behind either John McCain or Barrack Obama. Here in the Midwest, Indiana, Ohio, and Missouri are now tossups 반반의 가능성 with a total of 42 electoral votes 대통령·부통령 선거인단에 투표. And we’ll be looking at all three contests tonight.
