And now to the issue that voters in state after state are saying this year is the most important in this election, the econoimary, the economy rather. The legendary investor Warren Buffet weighed in today on ~에 대해 결정을 내리다, 마음을 정하다 where we are now and what the future might hold in this country. CNBC’s Becky Quick has the exclusive from Omaha tonight. Becky, good evening.

 

And Brian, good evening. We are here in Omaha because this is home to the world’s third richest man, the most watched investor anywhere. Normally Mr. Buffet is a very calm, reflective 사려 깊은, 생각이 깊은 man. But today he said the one word that investors fear the most. Recession.

 

It’s here in America’s heartland 중심부 that Buffet makes his home. And even though sales are steady at his Omaha-based furniture mart, he says times are tough for many across the country. “I would say, by any common sense, definition, we are in a recession.”

 

Common sense perhaps supported by some of today’s economic news. GM reporting a 13% drop in February sales. Ford a 7% decrease and even Toyota’s US sales were down 3%. Bad news for automakers when oil closed today at $102.65 and is now definitely affecting the behavior of American drivers. “I use the car less than I usually do.”
