Good morning, lights out! The Baltimore-Ravens Super Bowl champs in a game that `went down to the wire`(ÃÖÈıîÁö). But it's 34 minute blackout that has people talking this morning. Half the power in New Orleans Stadium Superdome here is out. So what caused it? Did it have anything do with Beyonce's electrifying half time show? 1, 2, 3, 4.....we are live in New Orleans. From NBC news, this is Today with Matt Lauer and Savanna Gathrie. Live from studio 1A in Rockefeller Plaza.
When you have a ticket to the Super Bowl, half time is when people generally tend to leave their seats, get something to eat, take a break whatever. Not here, not last night, in fact, many people consider the football simply to be Beyonce's opening act. As the Ravens and 49ers did that in the first half, for some, the main event was still to come, the Beyonce Bowl. "Super Dome, 1, 2, 3,4 ...yes!" Forget the bathroom break; millions were glue to their couches or superdome seats. And if you wanted an electrified spectacle, it was sign sealed and delivered. A rumor union of the Destiny Child! As Michel Williams and Kelly Ralen appeared together, flying up from beneath the stage and `raising the roof`(¶°³ª°¡°Ô ÇÔ¼ºÀ» Áö¸£´Ù), collaborating on Beyonce's song: Single Ladies. For a few minutes, `shades`(»ó±â½ÃÅ°´Ù) of the 90s again "Good morning Angels, good morning Charley!"
The highly `anticipated`(°í´ëÇÏ´ø) performance came 2 weeks after Beyonce lip-sync the Star Spangled Banner at President Obama's inauguration. Even when the dome went dark after her performance, it couldn't `dim the glow of her fans.`(ÆÒµéÀÇ ÈïºÐÀ» °¡¶ó¾ÉÈ÷´Ù) "This is kind of crazy but I have to say the Beyonce half time was the best ever. Did you see it? Absolutely the best ever!" "Did she have anything to prove tonight? I think she probably did it, you know? I mean not to me, but to the majority of the people, I think she probably did and she wowed everyone.
